EARLY HELP SYSTEM GUIDE SURVEY FOR PRACTITIONERS AND MANAGERS

The  Early Help System Guide (EHSG) was introduced by Government in 2022 to help local areas with their self-assessment to support the refresh of their early help strategies and their future plans for early help. The EHSG is no longer a requirement but is recognised as being helpful to understand the maturity of our Early Help system. Because of this it has been agreed that in Hertfordshire we will continue to assess ourselves using the framework provided.

The assessment is undertaken in collaboration with all partners to inform future plans alongside the Supporting Families outcomes framework which underpins our Early Help work.

The EHSG includes a template with a set of questions that need to be given consideration. The results of the assessment will be used by our Families First Partnership Board to prioritise further developments to our early help offer and to ensure that our Early Help Strategy is maintained.

To help us with this assessment, we would be grateful if you can consider the questions in this survey.
