Physical Disability Strategy 2024

Creating a Strategy for people with Physical Disabilities in Hertfordshire

At Hertfordshire County Council we believe everyone should be able to live the life they choose, stay connected, active, happy and well.

Do you live in Hertfordshire and have a Physical Disability? This could include long term illnesses or conditions that affect your day-to-day life.

Are you a family member, friend or unpaid carer of someone who is Physically Disabled?

Do you work with disabled people?

Then we want to hear from you!

This is the first time we are developing a Physical Disability Strategy.  This Strategy will be a plan of action which, with your help, will include our goals for the next five years.

We want as many people as possible to be involved in informing what is in the plans and making them a reality. We are committed to listening, learning and acting on what people tell us. As well as a range of ways of getting involved in informing this strategy, we’ll be taking into account other relevant information that people have provided to us.

This survey will help us identify key themes for the strategy, so we can plan our priorities for the next five years.  We will use the information you provide anonymously.

National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTI) have been invited to help to gather the views of people who live across Hertfordshire. We want to learn what a good life means to you and what helps or gets in the way at the moment. The things you tell us will help shape the local plan.  If you would like to know more about NDTI and what we do, please click this link: NDTI - About Us

If you would like a paper copy, or require an accessible version of the survey, please complete this form

If you would like to find out about more ways to take part, please contact us by emailing equallivesteam@ndti.org.uk

I understand how the information I provide will be used.  *
